BIP, under the guidance of the Department of Pharmacy, has initiated an Internal Academic and Competitive Training Programme PHARMA-SMART for B. Pharm final-year students. The programme aims to provide structured and industry-oriented preparation for GPAT and higher studies, enhancing conceptual clarity, problem-solving ability, and professional competence.
Under PHARMA-SMART, regular classes, doubt sessions, mock tests, and expert lectures are conducted alongside the academic curriculum.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) evaluates students’ understanding of undergraduate-level Pharmacy subjects. Qualified candidates can pursue M. Pharm and avail scholarships or opportunities in research, academics, and the pharmaceutical industry.
The institute conducts regular GPAT preparation classes for final-year B. Pharm students, delivered by experienced faculty members and subject experts. The programme includes concept lectures, MCQ practice, previous year question discussions, mock tests, and performance analysis.
