                                                 Admission Process

WHY PURSUE B.PHARM ?

Today a lot of career opportunities are available for the B.pharm. They prepare & dispensing prescription drugs and many are responsible for the research & development of new medicine. Student can become drug safety associate or go in to clinical research or pharmacovigilance sector. Student can also study further  to increase their qualification or better job opportunities M.pharm, PhD, LLB, even MBA can be pursued after B.Pharm course.

Apart from this there are many other job opportunities available like.

1-         Drug industry as a drug chemist

2-         Quality control

3-         Drug inspector

4-         Medical shop chemist

5-         Government pharmacist etc.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The registration forms are available on website, in the institute and at city office. The forms should be duly filled and attached with photocopies of testimonials, recent colored passport size photograph and cash / demand draft / pay order of registration amount of Rs. 30,000/- in favor of "BUDDHA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY" payable at Gorakhpur which will be adjusted towards fees.

ADMISSION IN B.PHARMAND FIRST YEAR

For admission to first year of B.Pharm, candidate must have passed (with/without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).

ADMISSION IN BPHARM SECOND YEAR (Lateral entry)

Lateral entry in“B.Pharm for Diploma holders” in third semester (second year). Candidate who have passed qualifying exam from other than Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates who have passed (with/without grace) 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)’ OR whose parents are domicile of U.P. and he/she has passed (with/without grace) 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education,U.P., are eligible for admission to second year of B.Pharm. Only.

Samaj Kalyan Scholarship

Government Provides Scholarship (Fee Reimbursement) for those students whose parents' annual income is less then Rs. 2,00000/- (Rs Two Lac only). Gen /OBC / SC/ST/Minority. Full Tuition Fee. For fee Reimbursement student must fill Samaj Kalyan Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement form necessarily.

FEES INSTALLMENT

Institute has provided the facility to pay the fee in installments as mentioned below:

  • 1st  Installment at the time of registration, Rs. 30000/-,
  • 2nd Installment at the time of Admission on 31 Aug.
  • 3rd  Installment at the Beginning of 1st Semester Exam 30 Nov.

EDUCATION LOAN

Various Banks provide the much needed financial support to deserving students for pursuing professional or technical education. College assists such type of needy students to procure loan from banks namely ANDHRA BANK and ALLAHABAD BANK.
